What We Are
BRAVO provides resources, answers questions, and offers support to LGBTQIA+ survivors of hate and bias violence, relationship violence, stalking, and other forms of violence.
Who We Serve
BRAVO serves LGBTQIA+ survivors of violence, survivors who are living with HIV, and their loved ones. We also serve co-survivors and service providers. However, we will serve all people regardless of identity.
Mission Statement
BRAVO works to eliminate violence perpetrated on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and stalking through prevention, education, advocacy, violence documentation, and survivor services.
Buckeye Region Anti-Violence Organization (BRAVO) receives grant funds from the federal Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) and the State Victims Assistance Act (SVAA). The Crime Victims Services Section of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office awards these grants. Victims of federal crimes will receive BRAVO services. BRAVO serves all survivors regardless of actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, lineage or national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, ability, sex, gender, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information, arrest record, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
